Pricing

The stated rates apply to services performed within New York State. Out-of-state services are billed at double the posted rates.

“Per service” means per recipient and per address. If multiple people must be served, or if service must be attempted at multiple addresses, each person and each address is treated as a separate service.

“Per posting” means each property or posting location is billed separately.

Day calculations exclude Sunday. Jobs received after 2:00 PM are treated as received on the next business day for scheduling purposes.

Included attempt windows are:

• Morning: 8:00 AM - Noon
• Afternoon: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
• Evening: 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Except on eviction matters, one of these attempts will be made on a Saturday.

Printing of up to 50 pages is included. Additional pages are billed at $0.10 per page.

Body worn camera documentation is available only in our local service area: Cayuga, Cortland, Madison, Onondaga, and Oswego counties.

Basic due diligence includes:

• Attempting to make contact with a person at the provided address
• Making notes of obvious signs of vacancy or residency, such as packages or mail, names on mailboxes or doors, and vehicles in driveways
• Leaving door hangers requesting that the defendant contact us
• Attempting to contact up to 2 neighbors on the 2nd and 3rd attempts

Due diligence service is not provided on evictions or posting service.

Notarized affidavits have not been required since January 1, 2024 pursuant to CPLR 2106. Our electronically signed affirmation of service is valid in all New York courts.

Our electronically signed affirmation of service is permitted under the Electronic Signatures and Records Act, including New York State Technology Law §§ 304 and 306.

Advanced due diligence includes:

• Up to 3 attempts to contact the defendant or known relatives by phone to arrange service
• Attempts to contact neighbors on each attempt

Our skip trace service includes searches using:

• Investigative databases
• Postal forwarding search
• DMV records search
• Voter registration search
• Public records search
• Social media analysis
