This Code of Ethics and Employee Code of Conduct explains the standards we expect from our team and the commitments clients and the public can expect from us.

Public-facing policy

These standards guide how we act, communicate, document work, and protect those we serve.

We are truthful in our work, records, and communications. We do not mislead clients, courts, counsel, vendors, or the public.

  • Provide accurate information in all reports, logs, notes, and statements.
  • Never falsify documents, evidence, timestamps, photographs, videos, or service records.
  • Correct mistakes promptly, transparently, and professionally.
  • Perform services only within authorized scope and instructions.

We comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including court rules, licensing requirements, privacy obligations, and client instructions.

  • Use lawful methods only and never engage in intimidation, harassment, or improper deception.
  • Maintain required licenses, training, and certifications when applicable.
  • Document work in a manner that can be responsibly relied upon.
  • Ask questions and escalate when requirements or instructions are unclear.

We protect confidential information, personal data, and sensitive matter details. We access and use information only for legitimate business purposes.

  • Do not share client or matter details with unauthorized persons, including friends or family.
  • Use secure tools and approved channels when transmitting documents or data.
  • Limit disclosure to what is necessary to perform assigned work.
  • Report suspected data loss, unauthorized access, or security incidents immediately.
Practical rule: If you would not be comfortable seeing the information publicly, do not discuss it in public or on unsecured channels.

  • No harassment, bullying, threats, or offensive conduct.
  • Use calm, respectful communication and de-escalation practices when needed.
  • Maintain appropriate boundaries and avoid confrontations.
  • Act in a manner that reflects well on our clients and our organization.

  • Disclose relationships that could affect (or appear to affect) impartiality or judgment.
  • Do not handle matters involving close friends, family members, or personal adversaries without approval.
  • Do not use company information, tools, or time for outside work that conflicts with company interests.
  • Never use your role for personal gain or improper advantage.

  • Do not offer or accept bribes, kickbacks, or anything intended to influence an outcome.
  • Modest, customary courtesies may be acceptable if lawful and not tied to decision-making.
  • If unsure, decline and ask a supervisor.

  • Communicate honestly, respectfully, and professionally.
  • Do not share confidential matter details, client information, or private data online.
  • Do not represent personal opinions as company positions.
  • Direct media inquiries or sensitive public questions to authorized leadership.

  • Use company systems responsibly and only for legitimate business purposes.
  • Safeguard credentials, devices, keys, and access methods.
  • Maintain accurate records and protect them from alteration, loss, or unauthorized access.
  • Follow evidence handling and document retention procedures.

Unauthorized access, misuse of data, or tampering with records may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination, and may be referred to authorities when appropriate.

  • Follow safety protocols and report hazards, incidents, or injuries promptly.
  • Arrive prepared, presentable, and ready to perform duties professionally.
  • Avoid reckless behavior while on duty or representing the company.
  • Maintain a drug-free and alcohol-free workplace while performing services or driving for work.

We encourage employees, clients, and members of the public to report concerns in good faith. Retaliation is not permitted.

  • Report suspected misconduct, compliance issues, safety concerns, or unethical behavior promptly.
  • Reports may be made to management or through our contact form.
  • We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
