As of January 1, 2024, notarized affidavits of service are no longer required in New York State.

Upon completion of service, we will provide you with an electronically signed Affirmation of Service. While this document does not include a notary seal or physical signature, it is fully valid and enforceable under New York law.

Affirmations without notarization are authorized by CPLR § 2106. Electronic signatures are legally recognized under the Electronic Signatures and Records Act (New York State Technology Law §§ 304 & 306).

If you specifically require a notarized affidavit of service, we can provide one for an additional fee of $5.00. This option appears as an add-on on our order form.
